John Holson Smith, professor of Religious History at the University of New York, suffers from terrible migraines. After undergoing an experiment with tea made from herbs from the Amazon, he begins to experience visions and dreams that foresee terrible disasters for the planet. His mission is to warn as many people as possible about what is going to happen, but he must overcome the powerful and influential Catholic Priest Monsignor Octavius Bourjois, director of the Order of Revelation, who has ambitious plans when the chaos takes over the world.
